Dr. Sina Matin has been on the leading edge of one of the areas of highest growth in the field of bariatric surgery. In addition to general surgery, he is highly experienced in advanced laparoscopic surgery, revisional bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive surgery using small incisions and specialized video cameras.
After receiving his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Old Dominion University in Virginia, Dr. Matin went on to receive his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
He then completed his surgical residency and research fellowship at the University of Texas in Galveston. He also attended the Baylor College of Medicine Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship in Houston.
Dr. Matin lives in Southlake with his wife, Suzy, and their two children. He also enjoys exercising and the great outdoors.
Y’all did great! It stinks having surgery but I felt like everyone cared and took great care of me. I trusted Dr. Matin and he didn’t let me down. Hernia surgery is painful and he did what he could to help me manage my pain and understood when I said I didn’t take my pain meds (pain meds make me nauseated). He helped find a solution. I appreciate everyone! Thank you!
Dr. Matin is an outstanding surgeon, with a point blank manner. He is among the best in his field. Dr. Matin repaired damage from multiple surgeries as well as treated a critical infection. He saved my life, and while he has a wonderful bedside manner, he tells you the truth not what you want to hear.
Everyone was so nice and helpful here at the Surgical Group. They are so nice. Dr. Matin, I just love him. He is so sweet. The hospital visit on the day of surgery was awesome. If I had to do it all over again, I would come back to you guys and request Dr. Matin. You guys were awesome. Thanks for taking great care of me.
